Very interesting site. I decided to pick up a pair of these speakers and the controller to use as a second system with a squeezebox duet. Nice and simple.
I connected everything, and it worked (well at least kind of) - sounds was really bad! 🙂
One of the reasons for this was that the tweeters on both speakers was distorted, and low in level, and then after a while the level came up and distortion drops.
If you mute the speakers and then un- mute, the sound drops away again and this same warm up process begins again.
OK - i can leave the speakers powered, but i would rather take the opportunity to fix the fault and renew any specific components that can bring the speakers back to their former glory.
Any tips and or link to service manual?

Looks like it is a sticky relay, so i guess it needs to be pulled in harder, or replaced.....
