Hello has anyone this speaker?I have the type 22rh427 and i like it.I want to know how the great one sounds?

I found some information using google, but don't know how it sounds.
By the looks it uses the same units as my mfb532 wich, in my opinion,
adds some nasty sharp edges to the sound.
But keeping in mind it is over 30 years old it's not to bad I guess.
Hello the rh499 have an 12 inch bassspeaker,and mid and hightone speaker.It is the greatest from this time,but i have never see the speaker in real.

The 22rh499 has a 12 inch bass speaker, 4 5 inch mid tone speakers and 4 tweeters. Many believe it blows all now-a-days dolby surround stuff and subwoofers.

I have a pair of 499 and they soud great!
The bass is as good / or better as the MFB545, the own resonance frequency of the woofer is only 15Hz.
The mid and high section includes 4 squawkers and 4 tweeters.
If you can buy them for a resonable price ... DO IT !!

Hoeveel zijn 2 van deze lompe speakerkasten waard?
I don't sell them, they are masterpieces for me.
I even changed from a pair of 9819 the original woofer for two 499 woofers.
Despite the lower power the modified 9819 goes equal or even lower than a 545.
De waarde van een stel 499 ligt zeker boven de €200,-

The 499 is the biggest, but the 491 is also quite rare, and I still like to know how you like my ex- 491's 😉
from the 1969 serie, the 493, 496 are most common, 497 you find now en then, with a 10" AD 1055 or 1056 W8 inside.
One other very nice small one is the GH speaker with small woofer en oval dubbelcone, also a very authentic sound.
A rare speaker with the AD1055 is the RH480, with a tweeter that was also used in some very old japanese speakers. That was just before Philips started with the dome-tweeter, the AD0160T

I haven't listened to the RH491 yet, but I'm planning to! The very successful restoration of the "Big Brothers" has tempted me to start upgrading the other systems as well, like the 491, GH566 and the AD5055-like project with the sensational Bombardon woofer and dual cone squawkers.
I'll keep you posted, but not on this forum. Just check the "other" forum under "Passive Systems".
